Weather
The weather in Hisar during December is expected to be pleasant during the daytime and moderately cold during the night, with daytime temperatures ranging from 20–24°C and night time temperatures between 7–10°C. Early mornings may experience light fog, which is a common feature of the season in northern India. Participants are advised to carry light woollen garments for their comfort.
Accommodation
Limited accommodation (on payment basis) may be available in the guest houses of ICAR-CIRB and Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University (CCS HAU), Hisar, faculty house, subject to availability and prior registration. Besides, good hotels with tariff ranging from Rs. 2000 to 6000 per day are available and can be booked in advance with prior notice and payment.
Transportation
Hisar is well connected by road and rail networks. The nearest major airport is the Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi, located approximately 180 km from Hisar. Participants can reach Hisar from Delhi by taxi, cab services, or state transport buses. Hisar Railway Station is connected to Delhi and several major cities in North India. The conference venue, ICAR-CIRB, Hisar, is easily accessible from the Railway Station and Bus Stand through local transport facilities.
